Here’s an example of the kind of work I do. The first section is an excerpt of a tele-class script. The second is my rewrite/summary to be used for a Facebook blog entry. This is a great way to make your presence known!
This is my client’s transcript of her tele-class. She has powerful things to say; but you might want to skim through it to save time. Then you’ll see the benefit of my rewrite.
If you have something you’re passionate about that creates value for your market – and your target market is passionate about getting the results from what you offer, you, my friend, can create a 6-figure business.
But it is all in the way you approach it. You want to look at how you are communicating what you offer. It is less about sharing the services you provide or the information you provide, it is in the RESULTS and TRANSFORMATION your clients experience as a result of working with you.
You’ve got to shift the way you are looking at yourself, your business and your clients – and when you do, it can change your business!
When you start charging based on the TRANSFORMATION and the RESULTS your clients experience instead of on the amount of time you are on the phone with them each week and the information you give them, your business will take off.
The value you bring to the table is not in the services you provide… WHERE’s THE VALUE? It is in the TRANSFORMATION of your clients. It is in the RESULTS AND OUTCOME they experience. LIVES change as a result of working with you! Yet most service providers are completely missing the boat when they talk about trading time for $$ with their clients. Folks, the value is NEVER about the amount of time you are on the phone with your clients or are available to them.
The value is in the outcome and the transformation that you provide. The value is ENGAGING you for the OUTCOME that will get them.
Now your potential for leveraging your income goes thru the roof!
You MUST begin seeing yourself in a different light and begin charging for your services based on the results someone gets by working with you, rather than based on the information or time you put in.
It’s called LEVERAGE…
So start asking yourself:
What is the VALUE that someone gets from working with me?
Firstly, what is the DIRECT value that happens and secondly what is the LONG-TERM value they are getting?
For example, the direct value 1 client received from working with me was creating a 6-figure income – while working less, getting out of debt, increasing her 1on1 clients from her new group coaching program and selling her other products to these clients.
The long-term value is she now has an understanding of how to identify and use a successful system for maintaining a 6-figure coaching business, has business skills, and the knowledge and ability to continue applying what she originally implemented into additional programs, has been established as an expert where she is repeatedly ask to speak in her area of expertise which reaches new prospects. Long term value.
When you trade time for $$, there are only so many hours in the day for starters. But anytime you are charging by the hour, no matter how high your fee is, it makes the income about YOU and not the RESULTS or the VALUE a client receives.
It creates questions about whether paying you your fee is worth it when a client can get coaching by someone one else for the same amount of time at a lesser rate. Do you get this?
You’ve got to begin turning the way you think of yourselves and your fees around to put the focus on the RESULTS your clients experience when working with you.
RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS. Not “here are the services I provide and the fees I charge.” Talk about the results folks get when they work with you. THAT’s what you do.
Take a moment right now and think about the biggest client success story you’ve ever had whether it was a paying client or a client you worked with for free. It could be helping them learn how to successfully apply the Law of Attraction in their lives in order to create the results they’ve been wanting, it might be helping them getting to a higher income level, or attaining better health.
A lot of folks think their client’s results have to be money-focused in order to validate the higher fees, however, I created a hefty six-figure income by empowering my clients to consciously, intentionally and deliberately use the Law of Attraction to change their lives…sometimes the focus was on money, sometimes on health, sometimes on relationships, sometimes on career, sometimes on simply learning how to feel good more of the time than they had in their past. And by giving them the tools to do that for themselves, they now have a whole new way of living. This is how lives are being transformed.
And when folks achieve these new states of being, when they have been given a whole new lease on life, when their consciousness shifts, they absolutely see amazing value in that!
Go back now to your biggest client success story for a moment and look at the value they received, the results, the outcome, the transformation.
In your mind’s eye, imagine the total cost of that person not ever experiencing the results, outcome and transformation that you were the catalyst to their achieving…what would it have cost them in their lives had they not gotten the results they got from working with you.
By the way, you know there are never coincidences. You were the perfect match for that client and the results they experienced because of their work with you.
And now imagine what it might have been worth to them to go from who they were when you first met them to where they are today. What do you think they would say the value they have received as a result of them having the benefit of working with you is worth to them.
Now just for a moment can you imagine how incredibly powerful your work is. Do you understand how valuable your work is to your clients?
It is important for you to create a business that can support you in being available to those who are looking for you and the value you provide to them.
Can you see how important it is that you offer your services at a price point that is valued and respected – and reflects the level of transformation that you cause?
If you’re like me or the hundreds and hundreds of coaches I’ve spoken to or worked with, you have a burning desire to be in the profession you’re in. You have a passion for what you do, for the positive impact you are making in the world.
Folks, we exist in a Universe that is Law of Attraction-based. There is no Law of Assertion….that means if you have a drive or a passion for something, then there are those out there who have a drive and a passion for what you have to offer them. There are many many many folks who are ready willing, and eager to pay you what you are worth for the results and transformation they can experience as a result of working with you.
So it is so important that you set yourself up so you ARE able to provide your services to those who are looking for you and it is essential that you understand the value of your services…and when YOU do, the rest of the world will too.
If you’re in your profession from love and passion for it, you have a responsibility to provide your services in a way that will bring the most impact to your clients; in a way that will most benefit the world.
And if you’re thinking too small, or you’re afraid to ask for what you are truly worth, you aren’t making it possible for folks to understand the value of what you’re doing. You’re doing yourself a disservice and you’re doing your clients a disservice.
You got into your profession for a reason. Are you willing to step into your own power and embrace the value you provide?
And if you do, you want to begin by uncovering that value, based on the results someone is wanting to achieve and what it will cost them NOT to work with you.
It’s important for you to understand that value in your OWN mind first – what it costs folks not to engage you or what it costs them to continue doing what they’ve always done.
Think about your value when you are sharing your services, and think about the fees you deserve to earn.

Understanding Your Value
You are valuable. You have something to offer that someone else cannot live without, and you must believe that before you proceed with your business. If you cannot see the end result of your services as making someone’s life better, then you’re not giving value to yourself. Here’s an exercise in understanding your value:
First, you have a passion to do what you do, right? Close your eyes, and imagine what that passion looks like. Picture that passion attracting like a magnet someone else’s strong desire to receive what you give. Imagine the two being pulled together, passion and desire, giving and receiving; they go hand-in-hand. So it MUST happen.
But you won’t have much passion for what you do if you don’t see its value.
Second, imagine that other person who receives your “gift”. There was a reason that person desired it; find that reason, and imagine that person before he found you. What would be the cost of him not experiencing the outcome you helped him achieve? Do you see it? Do you see that you are valuable to that person?
Now, see that person coming to you for help, and see yourself giving him that help. Then, most importantly, visualize his life or business transforming; see HOW it improves because of what you did for him. By picturing the results your clients experience, you are understanding your value.
As you increase how you value your service, your “rates” should increase to match your value. It’s important for you to offer your services at a price that is valued and respected because YOU are valued and respected. And if you’re thinking too small, or you’re afraid to ask for what you are truly worth, you aren’t making it possible for people to understand that value of what you’re doing. In other words, what you charge should reflect the level of transformation that you cause.
As you understand your phenomenal value and expect to earn what you’re worth, you will attract the clients who are looking for, and are willing to pay for, that phenomenal, valuable you.
